Adventures of a Squirrel Nihilist on wandering into the woods.
Realizing that his once revolutionary Heideggarian Holzwege are [actually] ‘paths that lead nowhere’ Heidegger and his philosophy end in a quietism, in an attitude of letting things be. He cannot face the abyss at the end of his woodpaths and so, rather than follow Nietzsche into the unknown, Heidegger turns back on his path, and remains wandering in the forest.
