Loving wisdom more remunerative than Bible studies.
No surprise that starting salary for an undergraduate Biblical Studies major is a un-Midas-like $35,409. The mid-career salary of $50,800 will not seem like Heaven either. What is surprising is that Kiplinger’s recommends majoring in Philosophy, instead, which shockingly has a mid-career median salary of $78,300. Not bad for spending ten years making sense of Heidegger, Derrida and Foucault.
