Time is not something which is found outside somewhere as a framework for world events. Time is even less something which whirs away inside in consciousness. It is rather that which makes possible the being-ahead-of-itself-in-already-being-involved-in, which makes possible the being of care.A consequence of Special Relativity is that each of us is in the time which we ourselves are.
The time which we know everyday and which we take into account is, more accurately viewed, nothing but the Everyone to which Dasein in its everydayness has fallen. The being in being-with-one-another in the world, and that also means in discovering with one another the one world in which we are, is being in the Everyone and a particular kind of temporality.
The movements of nature which we define spatio-temporally, these movements do not flow off 'in time' as 'in' a channel. They are as such completely time-free. They are encountered 'in' time only insofar as their being is discovered as pure nature. They are encountered 'in' the time which we ourselves are.
