The Différance Engine interprets The Question Concerning Technology. Rather than quoting from the post, this time I'll go straight to the source, for two bits of its essential message:
What is dangerous is not technology. There is no demonry of technology, but rather there is the mystery of its essence. The essence of technology, as a destining of revealing, is the danger.
