In the food-4-your-head department I'm currently enjoying the Scientific American special on the latest from The Frontiers of Physics. An interview with Brian "Elegant Universe" Greene for the latest in strings. Lee Smolin explains loop quantum gravity. Paul Davies on time. Solar neutrino mystery solved! But no experimental evidence for the Higgs field yet.

I'm partial to the idea that there might me a smallest distance and shortest time based on the Planck constant. It's a satisfying answer to Zeno's paradoxes. At some point Achilles will overtake the tortoise and the arrow will reach its target because there isn't a shorter distance for them to travel over.
