I'm not joking. My parents were in the early stages of this long-suffering disease.
I mean divorce.
Not incest.
We all knew about that.
That was tolerable as long as you didn't talk.
But divorce?
That was much worse.
Much.
I felt lousy all the time.
So, you might say that me and the other kids were "thrown" together.
