The Summer issue (117) of October, the journal, Critique of Heidegger (1934-7) by Georges Bataille, translated and with a twenty-two page introduction by Stefanos Geroulanos. The critique was an unpublished manuscript, and will be more interesting to folks into Bataille. At that time, only a few of Heidegger's lectures had been translated to French, and most accounts of his philosophy came from those who had attended some lectures in Freiburg. Bataille is mainly interested in psychological issues pertaining to the ego and its intentionality, rather than ontology.  ¶ 3:55 PM
