Grub Street Grackle reaches for the Origin of the Work of Art to expand on Kundera on art and history. Just another turn in that same eternal recurrence, given that for Kundera the novel illuminates philosophy. Of course, for some, it's time to close the curtain on illumination, as the whole lighting metaphor is just so much metaphysics that should be cleared away. ¶ 8:56 AM
