Sorry if I missed it but if you go to the following page that'll open up the Berkley iTunes U site. Go to Arts and Humanities Courses and it'll show the following classes.
Philosophy 185 (Dec 6, 2007) Heidegger Philosophy 189 (May 13, 2008) Heidegger's Being and Time Division II Philosophy 7 (May 6, 2008) Existentialism in Literature and Film
There's also two others that look interesting
Phil 6: Man, God and Soceity English 117S: Shakespear
The Apple url immediately redirected to a page wanting to install software. After having flattened a machine to remove all vestiges of QuickTime that prevented other apps from playing media files, I don't think I'll go down that road again. Luckily, all those courses are available at webcast.berkeley.edu.
A torrent is an internet protocol, like ftp and http.
What's particular about torrents is that clients (e.g. your machine) don't transfer a file from a server, but instead download the file in pieces from a network of peers.
I understand that torrents now make up the largest portion of traffic on the internet.
Wikipedia does a better job than I can of explaining it.
I have tried to download the Later Heidegger lectures that Dreyfus gave in 2002, but no success. Does anyone still have these lectures, or can help me to gain access?
