In-der-Blog-sein

Tumblog has this purported Heidegger quote:
If I take death into my life, acknowledge it, and face it squarely, I will free myself from the anxiety of death and the pettiness of life - and only then will I be free to become myself.
I hadn't come across it before, so I googled it, and found dozens of sites carrying this quote. It turned out to be from T. Z. Lavine's book 1984 Bantam paperback From Socrates to Sartre: The Philosophic Quest.
