“Well, what don’t you like?” I asked.
“The title, for one.”
“‘Heidegger’s Hyphens.’”
“Right. Why that?”
“Well, I wanted to write about the hyphens. Being-in-the-world. The bridges between the words. How things are tied together.”
“Right. I can see that,” he says, flipping through the manuscript. “But why isn’t more Heideggerean?”
“Well, it’s not about that. It’s about the hyphens.”
