A talented lad, tho' reading Mont Blanc closely, one realizes PBS doesn't really affirm platonism (as is typically assumed), at least of the other-worldly, idealist sort. His views seem, if you allow a conjecture, slightly spinozaistic (for better or worse). Shelley reportedly signed the register in Chamonix as ...a-theos.
