The Consumerist has advice for job seekers.
If you've made the mistake of looking for manual labor jobs in recent years, you should really have been brushing up on Heidegger, Hegel, Feynman and Fermat.
Apparently philosopher is best job #16. I didn't know you could get such a job. I should probably stick with #1, software engineer, although I think its stress level is much higher than careercast.com ranks it.
