Babette Babich asks William J. Richardson about Heidegger's Being and Time.

Comments:
A fantastic clip. Thank you, Enowning, for posting this.

The irony of Heidegger's Vorwort to Richardson's seminal commentary is sometimes portrayed by scholars as one lost on Richardson himself. But the negativity that Richardson emphasizes both in this video and already in "Through Phenomenology to Thought" presrcribes a vigorous aknowledgment of the impossibility, underscored by Heidegger's Vorwort, of an authoritative imprimatur being conferred upon Richarson's opus.
