Charles McCain on how to punish a province.

Comments:
I do not have the history of those times memorized, but it might matter that the notorious "open letter" comes not from "prof" Heidegger but from "Rector" H whose duty it could well have been to affirm the results of what I recall was a national election, was it not?

No that does not absolve him from what one of the commentors in the film "Only a God" says, "H had no civic courage."

In our days of Occupy, we can see how commonplace such a lack is.

Exactly who did and said what, and under what circumstances is for specialists, but I enjoyed Frederick's comment.
