In-der-Blog-sein

Seedzen on Nietzsche and Heidegger.
In Nietzsche’s unthought metaphysics of eternally recurring will-to-power, where everything purposelessly seeks its own increase and thus empties the world of any meaning or value, where there is the sheer will-to-will, even to destruction, Heidegger found his one question: what is the meaning of Being? – our forgetfulness of Being and consequent nihilism has inaugurated a 2500 year narrative of decline in the West characterized by ‘the flight of the gods’ and the ‘darkening of the earth’.
