Well, if you get political pointers from Heidegger, you may want to reevaluate your moral compass. I don't know anyone who does.
I have book called "German Existentialism", with a swastika and Heidegger's name on the cover. It says on the back cover that it reveals Heidegger molding "his theories into one pattern with Hitlerism." The book was published 1965! What could possibly be in the black notebooks that's going to change the minds of people who've, you know, read Aristotle for ten years?
