London-based outfit The Good Life, that purports to help clients develop their emotional intelligence, wants philosophers to model its new line of black jumpers designed by Bella Freud, great-granddaughter of Sigmund. “Many of the 20th century’s greatest philosophers have favoured wearing black,” says The Good Life. “Famous philosophers who often wore black jumpers have included Jean-Paul Sartre, Martin Heidegger, Michel Foucault and Hannah Arendt.”
