In Random Nerds, Talib Kweli doesn't rate, in an appreciation of Danger Mouse's The Mouse and the Mask.
I’d even go so far as to say that Talib Kweli’s verse is the “Old School” equivalent of Common’s verse on “Get Em High”: a heavyweight talent jumping on an non-essential but deeply pleasurable track to prove that he does not know how to have fun, like the philosophy undergrad who tries to talk about Heidegger at house parties.
Yeah. Grads have more fun.
